第二次世界大戦期の米軍で使用された両面迷彩、通称フロッグスキン／ダックハンター系カモフラージュを背景にしたフィールドジャケット。輪郭を崩す大きな斑点柄は、後のハンティングウエアにも取り入れられ、“ダックハンターカモ”として民間にも広がっていった。

軍用からハンティング、さらに古着文化へと用途を変えながら残った迷彩は、着方で印象が大きく変わる。BOW WOWでは加工感を活かし、長くフィールドで使われた個体のような乾いた表情へ仕上げている。

上下で着た際の強さはもちろん、一本だけで古着のように馴染むフィールドパンツへ再構築している。

A field jacket featuring the reversible camouflage pattern used by the U.S. military during World War II, commonly known as Frog Skin or Duck Hunter camouflage. Its large, irregular blotches were designed to break up the wearer’s silhouette and were later adopted in hunting wear, eventually spreading into civilian use as “Duck Hunter Camo.”

Having evolved from military use to hunting and, ultimately, vintage culture, this camouflage has endured while taking on different meanings along the way. At BOW WOW, we have embraced the character of the garment’s processing, giving it a dry, weathered appearance reminiscent of a field jacket that has spent years in use outdoors.
