アメリカのワーク／アスレチックウエアから発達したフーデッドスウェットを背景にした一着。寒い現場や競技の待機時に頭部まで覆える実用品として広まり、戦後はカレッジ、スケート、ヒップホップなど幅広いユースカルチャーの基本服になった。

本来の色が判別しにくくなるほど進んだ褪色を大きな特徴としている。

赤がほぼ淡いピンクまで抜け、縫い代や重なり部分にわずかな色差が残る。色名では説明できない“元色を想像させる褪色”を主役にしたジップフーディ。

This piece draws inspiration from the hooded sweatshirt, which evolved from American work and athletic wear. It gained popularity as a practical garment that could cover the head while working in cold conditions or waiting between competitions, and after World War II, it became a staple of a wide range of youth cultures, including college, skateboarding, and hip-hop.
Its most distinctive feature is its advanced fading, to the point where the original color is barely recognizable.
The red has faded almost entirely to a pale pink, with slight color variations remaining along the seams and where layers overlap. This zip-up hoodie features “fading that hints at the original color”—a quality that cannot be described by a color name—as its central design element.
