1920〜30年代のスポーツ／アウトドアウエアで知られるビーチクロスの文脈を、ワークカバーオールへ落とし込んだ一着。ウールを主体とした肉厚な生地は、風を防ぎながら保温性を確保するため、ジャケットやベストなど冬の実用品に用いられてきた。

現存するヴィンテージでは摩擦で表面が痩せ、縁やポケットが丸く馴染んだ個体に独特の迫力がある。BOW WOWでは黒のビーチクロスをワークジャケットの形へ置き換え、素材そのものの重厚感と、着込むことで生まれる立体的な経年変化を主役にしている。

長年の探求により生み出された加工感は、ビンテージと見紛うほどのデザインとして昇華している。

This piece reinterprets the context of beach cloth—known for its use in sports and outdoor wear from the 1920s and 1930s—into a work coverall. The thick, wool-based fabric has traditionally been used in practical winter garments such as jackets and vests to block the wind while retaining warmth.
Existing vintage pieces possess a unique, striking presence, with surfaces worn thin by friction and edges and pockets that have softened into a rounded, well-worn shape. At BOW WOW, we’ve reimagined black beach cloth in the form of a work jacket, highlighting the fabric’s inherent heft and the three-dimensional patina that develops with wear.
The textured finish, born from years of exploration, has been refined into a design so authentic it could easily be mistaken for a vintage piece.
